Crochet Trivets/Placemats

 Crochet Trivets/Placemats to go with Bella Coco Coasters 

Diameter:  11" approximately

                                                        

6 ply cotton yarn - 3.5# hook

Note 1: Always start each row with 3 ch which is equal to a starting dc

Note 2: The slip stitch at the end of each row should be into the top of the 3rd starting chin.

sl st: slip stitch

Note 3: 1 cl (cluster ):  2dc 2ch 2dc 

Pattern:

Make 8 chains. Join to 1st ch with a slip stitch to make a circle.

R1 - ch 3, 19 dc into circle

R2 - ch 3, 1 dc *2 ch 2 dc * 2 ch, sl st into ch 3

R3 - Sl st into next ch space, ch 3, 1 dc,  2 ch, 2 dc *1 cl in each ch sp* sl st at end

R4 - ch 3, *1 cl in next ch space, 1dc* 1 cl, sl st at end

R5 - ch 3, 1 dc *1 cl , 2 dc* 1 cl, sl st at end

R6 - ch 3, 2ch, 1 dc * 1 cl, 1 dc, 2 ch, 1 dc* 1 cl, sl st at end

R7 - sl st between 2 dc, 3ch 1dc 2ch 2dc, * 1 cl*, sl st at end

R8 - ch 3, * 1 cl 1 dc* 1 cl, sl st at end

R9 - *6 dc into space inside cluster, sl st on top of 1dc*  sl st into 1st slip st to end.
