R1 -7 : Knit 7 rows of border
R8 : K2 * yfwd k2tog K3* 4 times, K to the end
R9-10 : Knit 2 more rows of border/pattern
R11: K16 turn, K8 turn
Knit 6 rows in these 8 stitches (to make the foot)
Cut off yarn
Join yarn to 1st stitch of remaining 8.
R12: K8, cast on 6 stitches along the right side of the foot, knit the top 8, cast on 6 stitches down the right side of the foot and knit remaining 8 (36)
R13 -: K 36
R15: K2tog k13 K2tog K2 K2tog k13 K2tog (32)
R16 K32
Cast off.
